India has millions of business websites competing for organic traffic. The good news is that most of them are making the same fixable mistakes. Here are the eight that show up most consistently in SEO audits of Indian sites.

4. No Internal Linking Strategy

Internal links help Google understand your site structure and distribute authority across pages. Many Indian websites have homepage links, navigation links, and almost no other internal links. 5. Thin or Duplicate Content

For service businesses in India, LocalBusiness and Service schema are the highest-priority types to implement.

8. Not Building Any Backlinks

Content quality matters, but links from other sites remain one of Google's most important ranking signals. Indian businesses often publish content and expect it to rank without any link building effort. Getting mentioned in industry publications, building partnerships with complementary businesses, and creating genuinely useful resources that attract links are all effective approaches.
